As the name implies a "rainmaker" makes good things happen; in this case software application sales. As it says above, we’re much more than a great "hot" lead source.

What’s the biggest problem facing successful software sales guys-gals? Yes the economy is a problem but SOME applications are still selling quite nicely. When your sales "super star" closes that really big prospect they’ve been working on the last three to six months what’s next? Got really good additional prospects near closing? Maybe, but not usually. They’ve been so busy with those relatively few "hot" accounts that they’ve likely forgotten something; their PIPELINE.
